Schmoozing.

Dinner last night was delish as the Harvest Vine with lots of vino. Afterwards, we did pie shots at the Bluwater. J-Money is the shiznit bartender. Lemon Meringue, Orange Creamsicle, and Peach Cobbler shots, to die for!

I'm sitting at home right now waiting for the FedEx guy to arrive with my iPod nano. They arrived super early Monday during the 1/2 hour window we weren't home and yesterday very late, after we had given up and gone out for the evening. I hope they get here before I have to leave before my very first driving lesson, or I'll be heartbroken.

Furthermore, it will mean we'll have to drive down to Fife to retrieve it, which is just inconceivable.

So that's right, my very first driving lesson today. Tomorrow (or Friday, more likely), I'll have to head back to the Licensing place to get my identification straightened out. When I went down to get my instruction permit last week, the guy punched my State ID (which would have been good through 2008), voiding it. The I/P I got is one without a photo on it, so it requires a valid identification card to go with it, which I don't have anymore.

I called today and confirmed that I do not at this moment possess anything the State of Washington would consider to be valid identification for anything and that either the licensing man shouldn't have punched my card or I should have gotten a photo I/P. Granted, this is basically a technicality and anybody with 1/2 a brain can tell I am who I purport to be, but I like to keep everything in order.

In other news, my cat getting has been delayed (again!) by 10 days. The breeder swears she'll be in town on the 24th for a cat show in Renton though. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I think I'll take a nap now. Stayed up way too late.
