My 02/15/2006 trip to Portland consisted of 15 hours — 8 hours in airports, 4 hours on airplanes, and 3 hours in Portland. Nice.
PDX
The renovations at Seatac are quite pretty.
Thoughtfully provided rocking chairs.
Great views. I miss that park across the tarmac.
Why I love Portland #12a:
automated
revolving doors.
Why I love Portland #8b: MAX & its time signs.
Stupid cupid — Saint Cupcake is closed!
Leaving Portland for Seattle?
Nope! Redmond/Bend! At least there’s a revolving door.
Alone in the secured boarding area.
For 45 minutes.
Until this guy shows up. I examine the art on the walls.
Disturbing . . . especially in an airport.
Check out our ramshackle art!
Professional!
Creepy Bunny Art, Part I.
Detail: Evil carrot fishing bunny.
Detail: Distraught suicidal bunny.
Detail: Evil bunny
crawling out of the frame to get you!
Creepy Bunny Art, Part II.
Detail: Bungie or suicide?
Detail: Another distraught rabbit! What the hell?
Note that this airport did not have a cool bar.
Especially not with sexy dancing lizards.
Angry cat art?
This is the best. There are two stores in town.
One’s a saloon. Kate loves eyepatch man.
Some folksy art mirror. WTF?
Hey! It’s
